The EngageAI Institute focuses on advancing research in narrative-based learning systems, adaptive collaborative education, and multimodal analytics to develop immersive, story-driven collaborative learning experiences.

We design AI-powered environments for narrative-centered education, adaptive technologies for teamwork, and multimodal analytical tools by leveraging breakthroughs in natural language processing, computer vision, and machine learning. Our vision is guided by a network of stakeholders to ensure the ethical creation of AI-driven learning tools that emphasize diversity, equity, and inclusion.
